Velammal School | Velammal School - Chennai | Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai | Velammal School kids create glass paintings in 60 minutes
Velammal School - Chennai, created a record when 2500 school kids made paintings on glass in 60 minutes. Children performed this task with a hope to get listed in the Limca Book of Records.
“Earlier we created a very big Vinayaka statue, which was around 42 feet high that was also done, so it was well thought of, again fine arts, and now we did something different because we want children to participate. And that was creating something new. This was glass art that our children did it,” said Stella Jebakumari, Principal, Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
For the students, the event was quite exciting and they had fun making the paintings and filling them with different colours.
The students made these paintings after getting training from glass painting experts for just two days.
